not sure if you're aware but that's the symbol of Lathander, not Pelor. Lathander is a god of new beginnings thus the rising sun. the art looks great just wasn't sure if you knew.

Yup, you're right. I can no longer recall if the client wanted Lathander or if they co-opted the Lathander symbol but was playing in a campaign that used Pelor. Maybe they were ensuring that they could play the same character in different settings, or something.

Or the more likely explanation is that I've marinated in default 3rd Edition lore for so long that I never thought it was a different god.

Pick whatever explanation is more entertaining, I suppose.
